Cornwall, Ontario - On April 17, 2024, Canadian rock band The Stampeders brought their “One More Time” tour to Cornwall's Aultsville Theatre, delivering a touching tribute to their late bassist, Ronnie King who passed away early last month. The Juno Award-winning band, featuring Rich Dodson, Ronnie King, and Kim Berly, have been icons in Canadian music since the early 70s. An empty chair on stage symbolized King's absence.

Kim Berly, the band's drummer, reflected on his late bandmate: “That chair in front of me, that's for Ronnie tonight. We thought there was nothing to do but go out and celebrate Ronnie. That's what we're all about tonight: a celebration. We'll treat this like an Irish wake with music, stories, and laughter,” he said. Approximately 500 fans gathered to relive hits like “Sweet City Woman” and “Hit the Road Jack,” celebrating The Stampeders' enduring musical legacy.
